Lady was brought into the program when Arizona State Livestock inspectors removed her from her owners for severe neglect and starvation.

As you can see she was extremely underweight and her feet were like platters, however she still had a great attitude and we could tell she wanted to live.

After about 6 months of getting small meals and integrating to normal portions of feed Lady regained her normal weight back. 

Lady passed away from cancer about 8 months after her rescue. 

We are so pleased that she was able to have some quality care and love and died with dignity when her time came.
