Lacy’s Story – Picked Up as a Stray 3/9/14

Lacy and her friend a little goat were picked up on March 9th near Moson Road and Palo Alto.  Lacy was wearing a halter and dragging a lead rope.  The goat was found in the long brush near by.  You can see some shave marks on her side, someone must have been trying to clip or ??

Advertisements were posted in the area that this horse and goat were found.  After two weeks of no owner coming forward a public auction was held at the CFH facility.  No one showed up to claim her and she and the goat were auctioned off and purchased by a neighbor who found them originally.

The goat has a new home with another horse and Lacy is staying at the CFH facility learning how to be caught, manners and getting fed well and having her feet taken care of.

Lacy will take a few months to bring to good health, she is infested with parasites.

July 1, 2014 Lacy has gone to her new home in Benson, AZ.
