individuals and rescue organizations trying to help them find new
homes. These equines are in no way affiliated with Care For the

17 HH Throughbred gelding. Has had a broken back, very friendly
and a great companion horse. Has had ground driving with a

Chance - 28yo |

Breed: Paint
Sex: Gelding
Chance is a 28 year old registered Paint gelding who has
yet to
spook at anything since I've known him. He is well broke and
has a lot of
experience under saddle. He does have mild ringbone in the
rear but,
according to the vet, this does not affect him significantly.
He has
arthritis but if he's given enough room to move around, it
won't act up. The
dentist tells us his teeth are loose and he's doing fine with
what he has
but when they fall out, he'll have to be on the same feed
plan Sunny is. He
is incredibly trustworthy and any one of us can weave through
his legs
without him giving us so much as an ear twitch. Contact Heather

Breed: Grade/QH
Sex: Mare
Sunny: Sunny is a 30+ grade QH mare who also is well broke
and has a good
deal of experience under saddle. We found out the hard way
that she has no
molars so she's on a soaked pellets/senior feed diet and we
expect her
weight to shoot back up. She does have a mild goosestep that
only affects
her walking gait that is the result of an old muscle injury.
The vet
assures me that she feels no pain from it and I've seen no
sign otherwise.
Don't let her age fool you--She was keeping pace with my 18
year old
ex-racer and is our most reliable mount. We actually believed
she was in her
very early 20s until the dentist told us otherwise. Contact

Petey - 23yo

Petey is a small 23-year-old Arabian gelding, with papers,
looking for a new home. He is an easy-keeper, reins well,
gentle, picks his feet up, and loves to be groomed. He is
in great health, has beautiful feet, long tail and mane, and
has been lovingly cared for the past five years. He prefers
women and needs an equine friend as he is not happy living
alone. He is still frisky and can run fast, so a young beginner
rider would not be suitable. Has been under both English and
Western tack. Nice little horse with cute personality. Will
